A new mod just went live, and this one is special to me. Wan's Skill Tree is now available to download on CurseForge.

Let me be honest with you about what this is, because it's a little different from the others.

This mod might not move the download numbers the way The Ravenous or Ancient Beasts do, at least not right away. And that's completely fine, because that's not what it's built for. This is a foundation. In the coming months, you're going to see it show up as a dependency behind other, much bigger mods, the kind of thing that quietly powers a whole progression system underneath your favourite packs.

That's the plan we're building at WanMine: an ecosystem of mods that support each other. Not empty library mods that just sit there, but real, functional tools that add genuine features while making everything else we build stronger. Two weeks ago you saw the first one, the Bio-Scanner (thank you so much for those downloads, truly). Wan's Skill Tree is the second, and it's one of the most powerful yet.

So what does it actually do?

🌳 It's a real skill tree with progression that finally means something. It locks recipes and dimensions for real, not "hidden from the recipe book", genuinely locked until you earn the skill to open them.
🔒 The lock reaches everything: crafting tables, furnaces, smithing tables, even Create's machines and the Mechanical Crafter, and any modded recipe.
🎯 You earn points through the Dispatch Post, a block with a mechanical courier that hands out orders you have to fulfil, and the orders get harder the more you progress.
🛠️ Modpack makers build the whole tree in-game with the mouse, no JSON by hand, no restarts, and ship it with a single file.
